Team-building & Communication workshops help your team to get creative, switch on their left brain & change the way they communicate through unique artistic experiences.
Start a conference on a high, strengthen the team over a morning, wake up an audience mid-afternoon or get creative after dinner.
It has been well documented that creative programs and training improve self esteem, self-awareness, motivation, release work-related tensions and stress, and enable effective communication between colleagues.
Indeed, researchers such as Professor Michael Posner have found evidence that arts training strengthens the brain’s attention system, which in turn can improve cognition more generally.
The key to successful leadership, teamwork and engagement is effective communication. In today’s fast-paced environment, we need to think outside the box in order to stay connected, hear and be heard.
Jessamy’s methods, used by some of Australia’s largest companies, foster discussion and connectivity, break down silos across the value chain and inspire an attitude of innovation in employees.
Jessamy has developed a range of workshops, and tailors each event to suit the needs and outcome expectations of the individual client.
Please download the Workshop Overview for more information, or get in touch.
“Jessamy facilitated a team building workshop for my team at Origin Energy. Using her creative skills, Jessamy encouraged the team to create a piece of artwork reflecting a shared vision of where we saw the team heading.
Jessamy’s approach was extremely professional and reflected her extensive creative talents. I would thoroughly recommend Jessamy for any similar project.” - Tony Monley, Origin Energy
Jessamy Gee is a visual artist who specialises in using art as a tool for team-building and better communication through dynamic classes, workshops and visual interpretations at conferences and events (clients have included NAB, MARS Asia, ANZ, Telstra, Australia Post, Origin Energy, Minter Ellison, General Mills Australia and more).
Jessamy studied Drawing and Portraiture, Contemporary Painting Techniques and Art Therapy at Box Hill Institute of TAFE, Victorian College of the Arts, and La Trobe University respectively.
Jessamy also takes active part in a variety of community-based work – in particular working with young people of diverse abilities - and strives to promote equality, respect and inclusion for these groups through creative programmes.

Many organizations today have turned to workplace innovation programs in the conviction that creativity is one key to competitive survival. And organizations know their ability to innovate lies in the creativity and abilities of their people. The individual needs to understand and adopt internal thinking processes that increase the potential for new thinking. Organizations have to do the same. The workshop will offer a powerful and transformational team leadership development experience in which self-limiting beliefs are removed and participants will find a new paradigm for ideas, potential and possibility.
Research clearly shows the need to engage the right side of the brain to unlock our creative thought processes. The key to unlock this right side function, that is easiest to access, is music. This is why music in its various forms is so popular with people of all backgrounds. Whatever the role, function, department or level music is a universal language and leveller. Its power to generate open mindedness and creative thoughts is immense. Everyone can make a vital contribution to the energy within the organization by feeling free to express themselves.
In this workshop we use a variety of non-threatening, yet highly engaging processes to bring people together and build trust through the power of music. This leads to generating of new streams of thoughts and ideas for business development. Importantly the group engagement factor lifts immeasurably through the shared experiences. By engaging the creative right side of the brain with the logical left side, we bring a powerful whole-of-mind engagement process to all participants. This is then leveraged to create a shared vision and ownership of the goals of the organisation.
This is a brilliant team building activity designed to heighten wellbeing, creativity and innovation, emotional expression and self awareness. We have successfully delivered this approach to groups ranging from executive teams of 10 to entire departments and companies and more than 1000 delegates at national and international conferences and special events. Industries have ranged from banking, finance and accounting to resources, retail, IT and telecommunications. The results are meaningful, magical and measurable.

Graphic Recording (or Scribing) is the process of visually recording a presentation, conversation or meeting using a combination of images and words to create a ‘map’ of key themes and ideas.
More than just pictures, the process is a powerful tool in assisting analysis, dialogue, decision-making, brainstorming, conflict resolution and visualising strategy.
It also creates a clear common understanding, sense of ownership, comprehension and memory tool for the participants. We are incredible at remembering pictures. Hear a piece of information, and three days later you’ll remember 10% of it. Add a picture and you’ll remember 65%.
Used by leading innovators such as TED Talks and Creative Innovation, Graphic Recording is a powerful tool to visually enhance presentations as they are happening, as well as record the themes & ideas from the day in a clear, engaging and easily accessible way.
Images are created on a whiteboard as the presentation or conversation is in session, in real time. The final images are then photographed and can be edited and coloured for use in slides, websites and reports.
Images can also be used to develop models and corporate journey images that can be refined and reproduced
For more information on how Graphic Recording can enhance your next event, please get in touch.

While people might forget dry, boring information they will usually remember stories. Most of us were raised on stories and when we allow ourselves to get past our grown-up-ness, we can all remember how much we (still) love, connect and identify with a good tale. They are both liberating and empowering. They are a most effective way to teach, learn and create a deeper level of understanding and connection.
We remember and connect with stories because they affect us on a level much deeper than the purely cerebral. They bring a level of understanding and revelation that information (of itself) doesn’t. Statistics, facts, data and theories are easily forgettable but stories (which are simply information with pictures and feelings) touch us mentally, emotionally and, even, physiologically. Stories make us laugh and cry. Happy and sad. They affect our nervous system. Excite us. Scare us. They can increase our heart rate. Or lower it. They can trigger chemical changes in our body (cortisol, adrenaline, endorphins). They can make us breathe faster or slower. And they can open the door to a level of understanding that only comes through a ‘three-dimensional’ (physical, emotional and psychological) learning experience.

Create that killer promotion. Increase web traffic. Evolve your product or service offering. Develop ways for greater staff engagement.
There was a blind man sitting on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet and a sign that read: “I am blind, please help.” A kind soul was walking by and stopped to observe. He saw that the blind man had only a few coins in his hat. He dropped in more coins and, without asking for permission, took the sign and rewrote it. He returned the sign to the blind man and left. That afternoon the would-be sign writer returned to the blind man and noticed that his hat was full of bills and coins. The blind man recognised his footsteps and asked if it was he who had rewritten his sign and what he had written on it. The person responded: “Nothing that was not true. I just wrote the message a little differently.” The new sign read: “Today is Spring and I cannot see it.” Sometimes we need to change our approach.

Ideal for when you sense there must be better, more effective ways of doing business. Particularly revealing for businesses competing in a mature industry.
Keeping up with the category and the competition too often results in a whole lot of ‘ME TOO’ companies chasing the same goals and outcomes. This ends in price-cutting, increased marketing spend and reduced margins.
At the same time it creates an opportunity for smart organisations to spend time focusing on telling their own story – CATAPULTING THEMSELVES AHEAD OF THEIR COMPETITION.
The Catapult Method is a revealing process aimed at EXPOSING & CHALLENGING THE RULES OF YOUR INDUSTRY.
Think of this as brainstorming on steroids! Ideal for when an organisation has a specific area they want to explore deeply and thoroughly. A Killer Innovations Workshop™ is totally focused on finding significant and highly profitable departures from your current offerings or practices that will be difficult to imitate.
No more ‘me too’.
Asking the right questions – KILLER QUESTIONS – is the key here. Such questions get you thinking at a particular issue from various perspectives you’ve previously not considered. And because the questions are rich and interesting then so are the answers. For example…
What is the largest hassle your customers do not know they are putting up with?
How would (insert famous brand or person’s name) approach this problem?
What if you had to launch it in 24-hours?
These are just three of over 100 Killer Questions that have helped businesses and not-for-profits in the most unexpected of ways.
Ideal if you’re wanting to ‘break the shackles’ by exploring how others would run your business. This workshop explores what market leaders in UNRELATED CATEGORIES would do if they ran your business.
What would Bunnings Hardware do differently? McDonalds? FOXTEL?
What if it were conceptualised by J K Rowling? Richard Branson? Robbie Williams? Nelson Mandela?
This workshop always results in some truly fresh and energised thinking.

What are the key benefits?
A range of coaches and mentors for leaders and emerging leaders for one-on-one or group mentoring.
We have all needed some kind of mentoring at some point in our lives. A mentor is defined to be “a wise and trusted counselor or teacher”.
Why do you need a mentor? Here’s 5 reasons[1]:
Someone to be accountable to. It is often too easy for business owners to neglect the management and marketing of their business through recurring postponement of tasks. Sharing of your goals with your Mentor means that if you don’t complete them and your business marketing lapses, your mentor wants to know why.
Someone to help you refine your ideas into practice. You have great ideas… some you will be able to put into practice easily, but others will be raw and need refinement to implement. Your coach has a vast knowledge of almost every marketing strategy, what makes them work and what confounds their effectiveness.
Someone that has a wealth of ideas to grow your business. For when you’ve just ‘run out of ideas’ on how to sell your products and services. But at all times, your coach will endeavor to make your contact educational, so that you understand the principals and can apply them for the rest of your business life.
Someone that has the contacts you need. When you need contacts for your business, equipment, investment advice, or just growing your library, your mentor has the contacts and knows where to find the information.
Someone outside, looking in. After a while, you find that you don’t see the business with the same clarity that you used to. Like living next to a busy road; after a while you don’t hear the traffic. Your mentor is there to take a fresh look at you and your business. He knows what to look for and most importantly, sees what your customers see. And he will always give you feedback.
“Words cannot fully express how thankful I am for your guidance and support. I didn’t want the session to come to an end! I wanted to get as much of your insights as I could. It is powerful and incredibly enabling to be amongst people who share a passion for helping others be the best they can be.” Mentoring client

Let us help you think differently (and more effectively) using some of the most effective and rewarding creative thinking techniques from around the world. A GUARANTEED WAY TO GENERATE NEW IDEAS and work out how to implement them. We help you work out how to achieve your goals. Double the results from last year’s direct mail campaign.
Never has a truer word has been spoken. The fact is, as marketers there’s safety in doing the same old thing. It may well produce the same old results, but at least we know what we’re in for! Right?
On the flip side, what are you missing out on? What could be if you challenged the status quo?
Wouldn’t you love to double the results from last year’s direct mail campaign? Increase web traffic? Evolve your product or service offering? Create that killer promotion? Or develop ways for greater staff engagement?

In this workshop we use a variety of non-threatening, yet highly engaging processes to bring people together through the power of music.
This leads to generating of new streams of thoughts and ideas for business development. Importantly the group engagement factor lifts immeasurably through the shared experiences.
By engaging the creative right side of the brain with the logical left side, we bring a powerful whole- of- mind engagement process to all participants. This is then leveraged to create a shared vision and ownership of the goals of the organisation.
This is a brilliant team building activity designed to heighten wellbeing, creativity and innovation, emotional expression and self awareness. We have successfully delivered this approach to groups ranging from executive teams of 10 to entire departments and companies and more than1000 delegates at national and international conferences and special events. Industries have ranged from banking, finance and accounting to resources, retail, IT and telecommunications.
The results are meaningful, magical and measurable.

Never has a truer word has been spoken. The fact is, as marketers there’s safety in doing the same old thing. It may well produce the same old results, but at least we know what we’re in for! Right?
On the flip side, what are you missing out on? What could be if you challenged the status quo?

“If there was only one word I could use about Jessamy and her work it would be this: WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW.
She absolutely stunned me (and the other 200 people in the room) with her genius (yes, a strong word) at being able to capture a fast-moving seminar I was presenting. The program was called INSPIRE! And that is precisely what Jessamy does. Use her — you’ll be as thrilled and stunned as I have been.” Paul Dunn – Chairman, Buy1Give1
